Biography
Mr. Anderson continues to have a long and distinguished career in law, politics, technology and education. He was a 10-term Congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives where he served the people of Illinois from 1961-1981. In that position, Mr. Anderson became the third-ranking Republican in the House. He also garnered 7 percent of the general election vote during a run for President of the United States as an Independent. During that 1980 campaign, Mr. Anderson earned enough credence to face off against Ronald Reagan in a nationally-televised debate.
Mr. Anderson has been a regular on the visiting professor circuit, having taught at such institutions as Stanford, Duke, University of Illinois College of Law, Brandeis, University of Massachusetts and Oregon State University. He also is on the advisory board of the Electronic Privacy Information Center and longtime Chair of the Center for Voting and Democracy. In addition, Mr. Anderson has been an of counsel attorney with Greenberg & Lieberman since its founding in 1996.

Biography
Stevan Lieberman, Esq, is a Washington D.C. based attorney who spends most of his professional time focused on intellectual property law, especially domain name / Internet law and Internet Technologies. He is a regular lecturer for the Montgomery County Bar Association on intellectual property topics. His law firm, Greenberg & Lieberman, LLC, established its office in Second Life in March 2006. Since then Greenberg & Lieberman, LLC has provided legal help to numerous SL clients. Mr. Lieberman is also active in the domain name space, providing legal advice to domain name owners and associated companies, setting up registrar tags, and providing litigation services.

Biography
As a founding partner of the law firm in 1996, Michael Greenberg brings years of experience in the field of intellectual property. Dealing primarily in the area of patent law, he has helped countless individuals and corporations see that their ideas are granted patents. Mr. Greenberg handles all aspects relating to patents domestically and internationally. With a significant client base located on five continents, Mr. Greenberg is well established in the field. As a registered patent attorney, his patent work includes sophisticated insight into other areas of concern for clients. This includes licensing, contracts and patent prosecution. Mr. Greenberg also is an experienced litigator, particularly relating to patent infringement.
With a background in biochemistry, economics, and sociology, Mr. Greenberg serves as chairman of the Montgomery County Maryland Bar’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law Section, as well as board member for the Maryland Intellectual Property Legal Resource Center -- a legal center for small, start-up businesses. Mr. Greenberg also educates other attorneys as a Continuing Legal Education lecturer for the Montgomery County Bar Association. For future attorneys, Mr. Greenberg is an annual lecturer at the American University Law School.

Biography
Debora J. McCormick offers significant large-firm credentials as a litigator and trademark specialist. Prior to joining Greenberg & Lieberman, Ms. McCormick engaged in a variety of intellectual property issues at Shaw Pittman, LLP and Banner & Witcoff. With a foundation of experience from those firms, Ms. McCormick continues to litigate various intellectual property cases, including copyright, patent and trademark issues. She is licensed to practice in front of the U.S. Supreme Court and brings a no-nonsense approach to serving the firm’s clients.

Biography
Prior to joining Greenberg & Lieberman, Mike Lebowitz already was recognized as an award-winning international journalist. Among other writing credits, he was a weekly columnist for the Jerusalem Post and a reporter for the News-Herald in Cleveland. Mike also was a legal consultant in East Africa where he focused on media law and judicial reform. In 2005-2006, he served in Iraq as a paratrooper with the elite Pathfinder Company of the 101st Airborne Division. Mike was recognized and decorated by the command for his direct role in capturing high-value individuals throughout Iraq that included foreign fighters, insurgents, terrorist masterminds and financiers.
Currently, Mike is a JAG officer with the Virginia Army National Guard. In that capacity, he is a defense counsel for the 29th Infantry Division where he provides legal assistance to those enlisted soldiers and officers subject to adverse action. He also helps advise the command, negotiates agreements and provides confidential legal assistance to any service member. Mike's civilian practice is dedicated to his work at Greenberg & Lieberman. While at the firm, Mike has engaged in some high-profile military defense cases. He is recognized as an authority on the subject of military expression, and has been quoted in numerous media outlets including the Washington Post, CNN and USA Today. In addition, Mike has aided in the prosecution of numerous patent applications, provided intellectual property counsel for both start-up and established businesses and been involved in litigation with such heavyweights as Nike and Microsoft.
In the community, Mike is an advocate for veterans' rights. He also provides pro bono legal services for the Student Press Law Center and regularly conducts client intake with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless.
